I'm declaring today Chihuahua Friday.
First Lilia suggested this awesome photo for the [this is good] box, and I couldn't resist. (See more chihuahua goodness on Myla's blog.)
Then
Steve brought Rudy to work which is always a delight. I made sure to wear a black sweater for maximum shedding effectiveness.
Finally, I have a chihuahua video to share. When my dear friend
Laurie was in town a few weeks ago, we stopped by my friend Blakely's store
R.A.G. (anyone in SF must visit the store - she carries only local designers) and then we went to see Blakely's new apartment and of course her chihuahua, my beloved Chupa. As you can see, Chupa and I go way back:
Blakely was telling us how Chupa had learned to walk on his hind legs for treats. She got out a piece of delicious cheese so Chupa could show us his trick, and we were amazed! Then Laurie asked her to do it again so she could videotape Chupa with her phone. This is what Laurie captured.
I assure you it was a total accident, and
no chihuahuas were harmed in making the video! It's like seeing someone trip - at first you're worried to make sure they're OK, and once you know they weren't hurt it's sometimes really really hard not to laugh a little!
